As Weekend IHC and OHC, you will need to add yourself to the Groups for the teams in your area of responsibility. This will give you visibility to Group Chats and to any email communications sent through Church Center.
As a member of the weekend leadership team, you should have Group Administrator permissions. If you do not see the options below, please contact the IT committee to update your permissions.
To add yourself to the groups:
Step 1: Open Planning Center Groups
Navigate to Planning Center Groups
Step 2: Filter to the current weekend
Filter to the current weekend Group Type using the “Group Type” filter
Step 3: Add Member
In the top-right corner of the member list, click Add member.
In the popup:
Search for the person’s name or email from the church database (Planning Center People).
Use the dropdown menu to select “Leader” (instead of “Member”).
(Optional) Check Notify [name] by email and add a custom welcome message.
