The timeline items below are designated as Tres Dias Essentials and  may not be modified or deleted from a weekend timeline. Section numbers correspond to the “Essentials of Tres Dias.”

Thursday Timeline Essentials
Section 2.12 – Agenda

  1. Rector’s First Talk “Introduction to the weekend”
  2. Silent Retreat begins 
  3. Meditation: KNOW YOURSELF, given by a Spiritual Director 
  4. Meditation:
    • PRODIGAL SON 
    • Alternatives for Women:
      • The Hosea/Gomer account as recorded in Hosea 1-3, or
      • The account of the woman caught in adultery, as recorded in John 8:1-11

Section 2.10 – Cloister starts at the Rector Introduction and ends after the Apostolic Hour.
[Note:  this defines the time when the Board transfers authority to the on-site leadership “Gang of 6.”  Send-Off and Closing are the responsibility of the Board, but by tradition SCTD defers to the requests of the weekend leadership team.]

Friday (1st Day) Timeline Essentials
Section 2.13 – Agenda

  1. The THREE GLANCES OF CHRIST meditation given by a Spiritual Director
  2. The IDEALS rollo, given by a lay person
  3. The GRACE rollo, given by clergy
  4. The CHURCH rollo, given by a lay person
  5. The HOLY SPIRIT rollo, given by clergy
  6. The PIETY rollo, given by a lay person

 

Section 2.12 – Silent Retreat ends after Chapel on Friday morning.

Section 2:18 – That table discussion follow each rollo except the FOURTH DAY.

Section 2.19 – That all rollos and meditations follow the dynamics and outlines authorized by TRES DIAS.

Section 2.20 – That the team and candidates have the opportunity to celebrate Holy Communion each full day of the weekend.

Section 2.22 – That the freedom of self-determination of each candidate be respected.

Section 2.25 – That the schedule allow time for informal personal contact among the team and candidates.

Saturday (2nd Day) Timeline Essentials

  3. The SACRED MOMENTS OF GRACE rollo, given by clergy, followed by Holy Communion

That chapel visits (“We Prayers”) by each table occur the afternoon of the second day.
