Board Email Setup

To safeguard the privacy of voting Board Members whose contact information is displayed on the public website, usernames for Elected Officers, At-Large Directors, and Committee Chairpersons carry a Microsoft 365 Business Basic license. This license includes an Outlook email account along with online versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications. Please note: your Board email address cannot be forwarded to a personal account. Officers, At Large Members and Committee Chairmen are required to set up and monitor their mailboxes directly.

Non-voting members of the Space City Tres Dias Board of Directors are provided an unlicensed username for logging into the community SharePoint site. These usernames grant SharePoint access only and do not include licensed email accounts. All internal Board communication is conducted through Church Center using members’ personal email addresses.

All new Board members should have received a welcome email from the IT Committee containing a temporary password. Follow the instructions in the “SharePoint First Time Access” article to configure the Microsoft Authenticator app and log in to SharePoint and other Office 365 applications.

Officers, At Large Members and Committee Chairmen, use the following steps to access your new email account after the initial setup is complete.

To check email on the web version of Outlook, simply log into https://outlook.office.com using your firstname.lastname@spacecitytd.org username.

If you have a desktop license for Outlook, add your @spacecitytd.org account:

  1. Click the gear icon, then tap “Accounts”
  2. Tap “Add Account” in the top right corner
  3. Enter your username
  4. Select “Exchange/Microsoft 365”

In apps that support Exchange (for example the Android Gmail app or Apple Mail app), choose “Exchange”, “Exchange and Office”, or “Microsoft 365/Office 365” as the account type, then enter your full email and password.
