What is SharePoint Used For?
SharePoint is used for storing community documents, such as:
- Templates for the Chapel Prayer Wheel, Escort Cha schedules, Dorm bed assignment worksheets
- Weekend leadership documents
- Job Descriptions
- Community By Laws and organizational documents
SharePoint also includes private websites for Weekend Leadership Teams and the Board of Directors:
- Detailed tutorial information for Section Head Chas.
- Sites for all Officers, Standing Committees and Ad Hoc Committees
How do I Log In to SharePoint?
Login credentials are assigned by the IT Committee based on your role:
- Board Members: firstname.lastname@spacecitytd.org
- Weekend Team Leadership Chas: position_gender@spacecitytd.org
Your login credentials (login name and temporary password) should have been sent by email to the address we have on file. For security, all users are required to set up Multifactor Authentication using the Microsoft Authenticator App.
Planning Center
What is Planning Center Used For?
Planning Center is the administrative side (“back end”) of the Church Center App. It includes many components that are used on our Space City Tres Dias weekends:
- Registrations (team and candidate online registration, payments and form tracking; registration for Essentials Training)
- Groups (this is the back end of Church Center where documents are shared on the team Resources, Team Meeting attendance is tracked, group email messages are sent)
- People (this is the community database and host of the forms and reporting)
- Services (team roster, timelines, scripts, Music Stand, integration with ProPresenter)
- Check-Ins (used to track Essentials training class attendance)
How do I log in to Planning Center?
You will log into Planning Center using the personal email address we have on file. If this is your first time to access Planning Center, you will set your own password (tap “Need password” on the login screen.)
If you have a leadership role in another church or other Tres Dias/Pescador community that also uses Planning Center, you can connect the two profiles and switch between them on the login screen.
Church Center
What is Church Center Used For?
Church Center is the public-facing side of Planning Center. It can be accessed through a mobile app, or online through a web browser.
Church Center is where team members will access their team Groups to locate weekend documents (Job Descriptions, weekend timelines, etc.), chat with fellow team members, rsvp for Team Meetings, Register and pay for the weekend, Register Candidates, manage their own personal profile, access the Prayer Wheel, and much more.
How do I Log In to Church Center?
Church Center is accessed by either (1) downloading the app to your phone, or (2) clicking the “member login” tab on the Space City Tres Dias public website www.spacecitytd.org.
You do not need a password to log into Church Center. Simply log in with your phone number, and the system will send a 6-digit code to confirm your identity.
